Red Enchilada Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/8 onion chopped
  • Vegetable oil (enough to fry onion and seasoning about 2-3 tbsp)
  • flour 2 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp of chilli powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Heat oil and toss in chopped onions once those are translucent go ahead and toss in all your dry ingredients stir them constantly for about 1 minute or until fragrant.

Mix in your wet ingredients make sure your heat is on medium and let this mixture simmer for around 10 minutes make sure to use a whisk and stir often.

Once those 10 minutes are up go ahead and place your sauce in a blender blend till smooth and your done. Hope you enjoy
