Some changes

For awhile now, I’ve used this page to share recipes I love and things I’ve learned here and there. And while I still plan to share recipes with you, I am going to be switching to solely gluten- and dairy-free recipes. You see, a few years ago, I was diagnosed with a condition called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). At first, I didn’t realize how this condition impacted my life, and I wasn’t ready to make complete lifestyle changes for something that didn’t seem like a problem. However, as time went on, the side effects of this choice started to hit: constant fatigue, hair loss, weight gain, and irregular painful periods the whole ten miles. I wanted to change and found that going dairy and gluten-free has improved my overall health and this condition greatly. However, it’s hard to find recipes that are both dairy-free and gluten-free, and if they are, it’s even harder to find any that actually taste good. I wanted to create a food journal of meals that I love, as well as review other popular gluten-free recipes and share my thoughts, and any gluten- and dairy-free snack products I find along the way. I hope this can be a safe place for those who share my dietary needs and also for positivity when it comes to food culture. As always, I hope all you beautiful readers have a great day!
